China Star Chinese Cuisine in Fall River

Amazing, probably a wait before the food and it gets busy to the point where you must go there and order and take a seat to wait. So delicious. what are you waiting for? the eggrolls are straight meat and the wontons are like the little parachute style wonnies with a filling that seems to be a delicious burger mix. everything there is good, get er on the go.

Overall recommended. The menu was fairly diverse. We ordered 2 combos and 1 hot and sour soup. The fried rice in the combo was well cooked, good chicken to rice ratio and a nice taste of soy sauce, basic but good. The chicken in both dishes were prepared differently where I had a deep fried and wife had a stir fry. Both were good, chicken was always cooked and tender. Sauces in both had flavor and overall went well with the chicken although mine was a bit salty. Some may prefer it. The hot and sour soup was the star though. A pretty good serving size for the price it was done very well. Bit of BBQ pork in it with some egg drop. Perfect.Price was also very agreeable here the combos for lunch were really good value and the soup was an overall good price. Decor is new and front of the restaurant has a big blown up menu for take out ordering. Seating is sufficient for the size and parking was easy. Staff were nice and service was fast! Next time we are by the area we'll go again!

Best Chinese restaurant in Nova Scotia

Probably the best Chinese food the area.

Ever since I move the HRM area I could not for the life of me to find a good Chinese restaurant and then I found them, they have fresh and delicious Chinese food here

Wow. One of the best Singapore style fried vermicelli I have had. The hot and sour soup is also very good. Big portions and very reasonable prices. 10mins from Halifax airport hotels.This is gonna be my go-to place from now on whenever flying out of Halifax!

fast service and the family loves it. I moved from Markham (ON) and this is every bit as good / better as the food we would order from the restaurants there. I've served this food at a gathering and now a few people from out of town drive in to get take it. Try it out!

Got a meal tonight with egg rolls, chicken balls, low mein, and fried rice. Excellent portions, and all cooked perfectly! As a bonus, we received a 2019 wall hanging calendar. It’s awesome! :) I highly recommend China Star!!!

Quick and tasty food.

We really like this place for takeout. Haven't eaten in yet, so can't comment there. Portions are very generous and staff is very accommodating for different food preferences (for example, sending sauces on the side instead of mixing them in). We love the quality of their chicken balls - lots of meat! Their Singapore noodles are also really delicious.

When you are craving chinese food, this plave will leave you satisfied and most likely seconds.

Nice little set up in the quiet suburb of Fall River.Recently ordered the Dinner for 3(B), consisting of 3 egg rolls, beef & broccoli, almond gai ding, chicken fried rice, substituted sweet and sour chicken with lemon chicken, and fortune cookies, the first time I ordered food here in about 16 years, and it was just as good as I remembered it!The young fella who took my order was courteous, and polite, told me it'd be about 15-20 minutes, and by the time I went to Sobey's and back, my food was ready shortly... I'd gladly order from China Star again!

Best Chinese food ever and very friendly owners.

Our favourite Chinese food, hands down. We drive 45 minutes for it, and it's always worth it. Generous portions, delicious food, very reasonable prices, and the leftovers last for days.
